The Fluid Project uses different techniques and techologies to collaborate across members in the community. The following is a list of resources being supported by the larger Fluid community:

  • Mailing lists - there are a number of Fluid mailing lists for announcements, chit-chat, work, code commits, security, and the Collection Space project.
  • IRC - The Fluid Project team uses an IRC channel for collaborative discussions. Anyone interested in the project is welcome to join the channel and participate in the discussions.
  • Skype public channel - the skype channel is where the design team likes to have design-related conversations. Everyone is welcome.
  • Web conference - Macromedia Breeze is a web-conferencing tool that allows multiple participants to collaborate using video, audio, text chat, screen sharing and other tools, all from within a web browser.
  • Collaborative Whiteboard - It is often helpful to be able to share and interactively edit drawings, diagrams, and images across the Internet. This is particularly useful for design and user-experience exercises.
