Task 1

Please choose an image of your favorite fruit from the "Fruit" folder on your desktop and put it on the image gallery page.

Task 2

Now choose images of your 5 favorite vegetables from the "Vegetable" folder on your desktop and put them on the same image gallery web page.

Task 3

Now, please post all the images of fruit in your "Fruit" folder on your desktop.  [There should be an error for the files they had already uploaded, once the upload is complete and the errors appear ask them...]  What would you do now?


Task 4

***This is a placeholder for a task that gives the user an error message and thus the "retry" button.  We need to determine if we can development done to make this happen.  The retry isn't implemented yet.  You can see the retry in storyboards (

Task 5

Now put all files from the "Misc." folder on the desktop.  [As soon as they start the upload, tell them...]  Actually, that was not the folder you meant to upload, what would you do?

Task 6

And your last task is to put the images for your top 3 picks of herbs and meats into the image gallery tool. [Want to see if they user the "add more" to select from multiple folders]



NOTE:  Ask these verbally after the user has filled out the post-test questionnaire.

  1. Did you notice any indication in the file queue for progress of upload?
  2. How did you know you If you noticed you could upload multiple files at once, how did you know?
  3. Were Did you aware have any indication of the progress of the upload during the activity?  you activity?
  4. What did you think of adding files from multiple folders?
  5. Could you tell how much longer the upload would take?  Did you care?
  6. If Did you knew know when the file(s) were successfully uploaded, how could you tell?  How?
  7. If you encountered any error messages, were they helpful?
  8. What did you like most about uploading files?
  9. What did you like least about uploading files?
  10. Is there anything else you'd like to tell us about your experience getting images onto the image gallery page?
