Automating Accessibility Testing:

aXE, Pa11y and AATT are examples of automated testing libraries that can be integrated with a continuous integration test suite.

  • Note that aXe is now built into FireFox's developer tools

Browser automation using tools like Selenium or PhantomJS can also support automating some aspects of accessibility testing.

Examining the Accessibility API:

Inspector (Windows) and Accessibility Inspector

(OS X) are system tools for graphically examining

the Accessibility API; the Firefox DOM Inspector

is also useful for this.
