The following are notes regarding the design process being used to help adapt PhET simulations into a more accessible form.
- Evaluate the current simulation.
- Come up with questions.
- Gain an understanding of learning goals, pedagogically important elements, and who the intended user is.
- Create a design sketch with accessible elements - this includes an early version of the sim as it would be rendered in an HTML document that is readily consumable by ATs.
- Get feedback and iterate.
